Your file links should carry your brand.
Serve public files on your own domain, registered or transferred through Dilmune Cloud. We handle DNS and HTTPS.
When a customer downloads your brand guide, the link should look like it came from you. With Dilmune Cloud, a public bucket can serve its files from an address on your own domain, like this:
https://files.example.com/guide.pdf
Your domain identifies your company. The path points to the file.
It suits the files you already hand out: product photos, a brand guide, a downloadable PDF or installer. Your customers see your domain instead of the bucket's default address.
What we handle, and which domains qualify
You choose the address. Dilmune Cloud adds the DNS record and issues the HTTPS certificate, so you do not edit records or request a certificate yourself.
The domain has to be registered or transferred through Dilmune Cloud. Domains whose DNS is hosted somewhere else cannot be connected. The bucket also has to be public, which means anyone with a file's address can read it. Keep it for files you would hand to a stranger.
A practical tip
Before you send a link, open a fresh private browser window and paste the full address without signing in. Check that it opens the intended file.
Start on your public bucket's page: open Custom domain and enter an address such as files.yourdomain.com.
